Professor Dimopoulos is the Chair of the Department of Clinical Therapeutics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His lab prepares, stores and analyzes dozens of clinical samples daily focusing mainly in translational research studies in Myeloma, Amyloidosis and Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia and participate in National and International studies and EU programs.
The lab works closely with the clinical team including, Prof. E. Terpos, Prof. E. Kastritis, Assoc. Professor M. Gavriatopoulou and other younger physicians and residents. It also has a close collaboration with the Lab of Prof. O. Tsitsilonis and Lab of Prof. I. Trougakos in the Department of Biology, and the lab of Prof I. Andreadou in the Department of Pharmacy at the University.
